The Location:
Located at the heart of the Centre Var, Le Luc is a small town which knows how to mix the charms of its past with its modern dynamic local economy.  Its location at the crossroads of the main routes in the Var, have helped the development of this agricultural town. The historic town center, with its narrow streets and little streams, watched over by the 27 meter high Hexagonal tower and the campanile of the Roman clock tower, offers a pleasant environment. The old town has preserved an array of interlaced streets, partly in shade, partly in the sun, which stretches along the hill side. Le Luc is interesting for stamp collectors who will find much to interest them at the Regional Stamp Museum. Further afield in the Maures valley, and its trail will test the fittest amongst you.

Activities:
Notre Dame de Nazareth church and Clock tower(XIIth), Notre Dame du Mont Carmel church (XIVth) which hosts many beautiful art works (XVIIth century wood, Empire style organs, XVIth century stained glass) and a magnificent XVIIIth century sculptured chair, Hexagonal tower(1517), Centre Var History Museum, Regional Stamp Museum are to visit. One can also practice horse riding, karting, swimming, golf or go to the leisure centre.

Food – local specialities:
Provence is famous for its food, which is both healthy and delicious and relies heavily on olive oil, fresh fish and fresh vegetables. Local specialities include the famous salade nicoise, which is a mixed salad with tuna, egg, anchovies and potatoes; Pissaladiere, an onion tart with anchovies; Ratatouille, a Mediterranean vegetable stew; and Tarte au citron, or lemon tart. The south of France is also well known for the red wines of the Rhone area, and light and summery white and rose wines from the vineyards along the Mediterranean coast.

Le Domaine des Oliviers residence is located in Le Luc en Provence in the Var department, south eastern France.
Marseille is 70 minutes away from Le Luc en Provence, Cannes is 50 minutes away, Toulon is 40 minutes away, Frejus and Saint Tropez are 30 minutes away.

By car: A8 motorway, exit 35 towards Brignoles, then the DN7 towards Frejus.

By rail: London is 2hrs from Paris by Eurostar. Brignoles is 20 minutes from Le Luc and there are regular trains to Brignoles train station via Aix en Provence from Paris.

By air: Cannes-Mandelieu international airport is located 40 minutes from the village Le Luc en Provence. There are regular low costs flights from the UK to Cannes.
