Landevant is a commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany in north-western France. It is located only 20 minutes from the commune and seaport Lorient. This town is well known for its annual Festival Interceltique, founded in 1971 that participates in the development of Celtic music and culture, and attracts large numbers of tourists in the area every summer. The town of Vannes is also 20 minutes from Landevant. It is the former seat of Brittany’s Parliament, and it has managed to keep the most important remnants of its rich history. It provides a large range of cultural, historical and sportive activities all over the year and every Wednesday and Saturday, thirty permanent traders bring the market to life. Landevant with Vannes and Lorient, benefit a variety of shops, schools and restaurants. International airport in Rennes can be reached in 90 minutes, the St Malo ferry port is about 120 minutes.

Activities:
The main sportive activity around Landevant is hiking, but one can also practise yoga, handball, football, cycling, badminton, roller skating, aikido proposed by many associations, and fishing or sailing thanks to the nearby rivers and ocean.
