The Location:
The attractive village of Soustons has an exceptional position, bordered on one side by the Atlantic Ocean and its outstanding beaches and on the other side by a large fresh water lake, Lac de Soustons, suitable for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and swimming. The pine forests surround Soustons village with numerous cycle trails and walking paths leading to the lakes and beaches without even having to use the roads. Like most of the south west coast, Soustons is something of an outdoor playground. The town with its two lakes is very popular with sailing enthusiasts.
