Local food and gastronomy:
The camargue area is known for its particular red rice, salt and beef. Other produce include fresh fruit, vegetables and fish as well as olive oil, olives, lavender and of course red wine. Dishes include bouillabaisse, bourride (fish stews) and the tian (a Provencal gratin).

By car: Motorway A54, coming from the west exit 10, coming from the east exit 12.

By plane: Saint-Martin de Crau is only 25 minutes from Nimes-Arles-Camargue airport (flights to London and Liverpool), or 40 minutes from Avignon airport (with direct flights to 5 UK destinations and many connections) or Marseille Provence airport (direct flights to various UK destinations).
