Matthieu Cany
After obtaining my Engineering Masters degree from a leading French school (ICAM) and a Masters in Entrepreneurship at Grenoble Business School (GEM), I moved to London and founded Sextant Properties with Brice, thereby fulfilling a life time's ambition of setting up a business. I’m in charge of the New Build side of business and manage a sales team made up of people who are experts in their own fields. Over the last few years I have been working hard to develop a unique network of trusted and well-known developers all over France. I launched the mortgage department and currently manage the team of Mortgage Brokers. I also supervise the administration team, who deal with the website content, and spend a lot of time working with Brice on marketing, strengthening and developing the Sextant brand. When I'm not in the office, I like going out for drinks in traditional London pubs, swimming, skiing, visiting new countries and of course, enjoying a glass of Bordeaux with some French food in the North of France where I come from.

Brice Bonato
After graduating with a Masters in International Business from a leading French business school, I decided to move to London as I wanted to start my career in a fast-moving business environment. A few months later I founded Sextant Properties with Matthieu and what can I say, it’s been a great adventure so far. I’m in charge of the Resale sales team and have developed a unique network of estate agents in many of the most beautiful corners of France although I'm always looking for new areas that might be of interest to our clients. I also deal with the marketing side of the business with Matthieu. I place great value in hard work, organization and professionalism and believe you need all of these qualities to run a successful business. We have a great multicultural team here at Sextant and I truly enjoy working with these people who share my passion for France. Originally from the French Alps, I’m a keen skier and always happy to give some advice to people on the area that I know like the back of my hand having spent the first 25 years of my life there!

 Jim Beattie
I have been working as a sales consultant in the international property market since January 2007, helping clients to purchase properties in eight different countries across mainland Europe. Here at Sextant I deal specifically with ‘off plan’ new build and leaseback investment properties, using my knowledge of the developments, my excellent relationship with developers in France and my expertise to assist clients seeking their ideal property investment in some of the most beautiful areas of France. Whilst not actively eating, sleeping or breathing properties in France I enjoy travelling, tennis, going to the gym, socializing, reading and my new hobby, yoga!

Walid Sassi
I’m in charge of the Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrenees and Bourgogne regions here at Sextant. My extensive and varied travel throughout France has given me excellent knowledge of these parts of France, and I’m always happy to give some good advice to people looking there. I truly enjoy my daily work at Sextant, and especially the feeling that I may play a crucial part in helping some of my clients find their dream property in our beautiful country! Being from Marseille, I miss the sun and my favourite football team but I really enjoy the English way of life and the football culture here. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, socializing and am truly passionate about wine from all over the world, not exclusively French ones!

Karuna Boodhna
Having worked in the French property market ever since I  graduated with a law degree (LLB) from UCL seven years ago, I am now the consultant in charge of the Pas de Calais,Normandy, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Paris and Rhones Alpes regions here at Sextant. I really enjoy my job helping people find their dream property and love working with my friendly colleagues.  When I am not at the office, I spend my time horse riding, shoe shopping, cooking and swimming. I also love to travel; I grew up in Mauritius and have so far visited India, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Dubai, the Reunion Islands and the Rodrigues Islands although I hope to visit many more countries soon.

Sebastien Bessadi
London is a strategic location to operate a business from and indeed ideal to pursue a career in, which is why I decided to settle down here 5 years ago. I completed a Ba(Hons) in Economics & Finance at London Metropolitan University and have gained experience in the Financial Services industry & International trading companies, working as an Intern Financial Analyst and as a Commodities Broker. My role at Sextant is to make sure our clients make the most of their investment by negotiating the most competitive mortgage offers for them using our expertise in the French Banking System and our language skills. I like to spend time off work at the gym to keep a balanced lifestyle. I also enjoy spending quality time with family & friends and reading a good book while on the train.

Rachel German
I joined the Sextant team at the start of 2010, having studied Spanish and Anthropology at university, and attended the French Lycee in London before that. Along with Laetitia, I look after the admin and marketing here at Sextant. On a daily basis I oversee the online property portfolio, look after the interns, edit and write articles for the company blog and for magazines and deal with clients wishing to sell their property directly through us. Sextant has a great vibe and I definitely appreciate working with such friendly colleagues. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, photography, planning travels and adventures and shopping, of course.

Laetitia Pellegrini
I’ve been with Sextant French Properties since September 2009 and enjoy working in such a friendly atmosphere and with such enthusiastic and competent co-workers.  It’s also brilliant to be able to put the skills I gained during my university studies in economics and languages to use in a job promoting my own country and its heritage! I have a passion for music – jazz, world music and alternative music in particular – and play the guitar in my spare time. I also love nature, especially the French alpine mountains where I come from. I enjoy travelling and discovering different cultures, shopping, going to the gym, red wine and cheese and spending time with friends and family.

Maxime Touchet
After obtaining my Applied Foreign Languages BA at the University of Le Mans, I decided to continue my studies by doing an MBA in the same subject. This education gave me the opportunity to start an internship at Sextant.  As part of my duties, I’m in charge of the registration of ads on the official website, the sending of newsletters and the writing of articles appearing on the Sextant blog.  Working in marketing gives me a clearer idea of my professional plans and opens my mind as I’m always communicating with people. It is a great pleasure to bring my knowledge as well as learning a lot as I’m also here for that! When I’m out of the office, I love travelling, listening to music and spending my time watching sports on TV as I’m a great fan of English football.
